ITZ RESOURCES was registered as a sole proprietorship in 2012 as a trading entity for a bumiputra
entrepreneur to carry on the business of supplies and services. The early years was focused on building the
reputation of the firm as a reliable supplier of goods and services to meet various market demands across a
number of industry sectors such as property repair and maintenance, engineering and electrical tools, small
agriculture equipment and machineries. In recent years the firm began to focus on specializing to provide
solutions on modernization of agriculture particularly in the post-harvest and processing technology that utilises
renewable energy such as sunlight.
This is done to assist the agricultural and marine product sector to improve their production in terms of quality
processing to yield greater marketable volume through reduction of spoilage. ITZ has also worked with industry
experts to design post- harvest processing such as drying systems incorporating modern technology (internet
of things) for precision control and remote monitoring.
With the backing of world brands such Covestro of Germany, Hydroplant from Myanmar and expert
researchers in Thailand, the firm is now actively promoting and supplying its Solar Dome Dryer to fruit and
vegetable producers, dry seafood industry and seaweed processors throughout Malaysia. A few State
governments have included this products in their agricultural modernization programme.
